No eco-tour to our region is complete without a visit to New England Wild Flower Society's Nasami Farm and Sanctuary. As America's oldest plant conservation organization, established in 1900, New England Wild Flower Society has always been at the forefront of the GREEN movement. In that era, that passion became the root of what evolved into the National Parks Movement, and we can thank Society founders and others for having the vision to protect our native flora and healthy habitats.

Today, the Society continues to be a major proponent of GREEN practices in the garden and on the landscape with award-winning conservation programs and 1400 field volunteers working with critical habitats and rare plants. Our Nasami Farm and Sanctuary in Whately, MA in the Pioneer Valley is the largest native plant nursery in the Northeast.

Please check our website for updates. Watch for our Native Plant Center at Nasami Farm, which will be built as a LEEDS certified green building, and sanctuary trails soon to be open to the public.
